1) Finger print sensor
A fingerprint scanner in Smartphone is a type of technology that identifies and authenticates the fingerprints of an individual or owner of the smartphone in order to grant or deny access or Unlock the smartphone. It is a type of biometric security technology that utilizes the combination of hardware and software techniques to identify the fingerprint scans of an individual. The technology was used first in Apple iPhone 5s in 2013 and is available in a number of budget smartphone these days. It saves your time for unlocking the phone compared to Pattern lock or PIN lock etc.
2) Fast charging
The latest Fast Charge technology can decrease the amount of time you spend on charging your phone battery. If your smartphone’s battery has been running out very fast in a single day, it is very good you to invest in phones with features like fast charging. Smartphone Brands like OnePlus, Samsung, Motorola, Asus and Oppo have developed their own fast charging technology, other phone makers depend on Qualcomm and MediaTek’s for fast charging technology.
3) USB Type – C.
USB Type-C is a USB specification for a small 24-pin fully reversible-plug connector for USB devices and USB cabling. The USB Type-C connectors connect to both hosts and devices, replacing various Type-B and Type-A connectors and cables with a standard meant to be future-proof. This is a new USB standard that was first seen in iPhones. Today, it is available on many budget smartphones brands like the LeEco, One Plus, Mi, YU etc. USB Type-C can transfer the mobile contents at speed of up to 10Gbps, which is two times more of Oridinary USB coonector. It also allows faster power transfer and is the reason why most smartphones which support fast charging come with USB type C standard.
4) 4G – VoLTE
Voice over Long-Term Evolution (VoLTE) is a standard for high-speed wireless communication for mobile phones and data terminals. It is based on the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) network, with specific profiles for control and media planes of voice service on LTE defined by GSMA in PRD IR.92.One of the benefits of 4G is VoLTE or Voice over LTE, which automatically transfer calls made on conventional Circuit Switched voice network to LTE network and then breaks it down into data packets. Now a regular call would work like a VoIP (WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger) call and use internet speed to deliver high quality audio. To use it you need 4G VoLTE technology in your smartphones.
5) Large Display
The big screen, obviously makes everything bigger for your eyes. You will see more content while browsing on your smartphone. You will see more content on social networks, like viewing some extra tweets on your timeline. Movies and photos look better on a bigger screen. Games will give you best and bigger experience. On Android, you will find apps and tools to split that screen into two panes, so you can view two apps side-by-side. Big screen is even more useful in landscape mode.
6) RAM & Processor
Your Smartphone must need sufficient amount of RAM, i.e. may be 3GB or 4GB inorder to work faster. Also your smartphones processor must be with atleast Quad Cores or Octa Core with 1.4 Ghz processing speed.
We will update this post as the technology improves.
